JP Brehony Homes/Commonwealth Housing Corporation really DOES have outstanding Customer Service and Follow-up. That’s because we are a part of your neighborhood, and we are here to stay! We are totally committed to not only finishing the Home of your Dreams, but helping you to stay content in your home for years to come. We want you to be satisfied and proud, and we won’t be happy until you are happy. We are community and we are family, and it just wouldn’t make sense to have it any other way!
Our reputation is all about you and what you say, so we want to make sure that the Word about Town is all good! Approximately two weeks before you move in, our Finish End Superintendent will walk with you and together you and he will produce a Final Inspection Report and make a list of any and all warrantable discrepancies that may exist in your home. We ask that you sign the Report indicating that it is a true and complete list of outstanding items. This signed Final Inspection Report (FIR) then becomes a work order for our sub-contractors, staff, and suppliers. We will endeavor to complete all the items on the list PRIOR to your moving into the house (Weather-related and supplier issues may cause delays.) We will ask that you again sign the list, at the appropriate time, indicating that all of the items have been completed.
Finally, we ask during your 11th month of occupancy that you submit a letter to us indicating any other warrantable concerns with your new home. Many of our sub-contractors and suppliers offer to a one-year warranty … which is why we want to hear from you BEFORE the year has expired. In this way we can engage our subs and suppliers to rectify any problems you may have that are covered under the terms of the warranty. Please note that routine maintenance that may be required due to settlement which includes such items as caulking and paint touch-up are not warrantable.
